Label FAQs
Q: How labels are prioritized in search?
A: Typically lower than the ‘main’ things like title or description, but higher than ‘body’ text, if applicable. E.g. pages are title, description, labels, then body. Events are title, description, labels.
Q: How many Labels can I add to the portal?
A: You can use as many Labels as you would like. The best thing to do would be to focus on labels that relate to your Tools, Groups, and Pages content.
Q: What if I have similar labels?
A: The purpose of labels is to make the content more discoverable. You probably will have lots of similar labels, but as long as those labels are helping users find content then the labels are working!
Q: Can Label categories be changed?
A: No, the label categories cannot be changed. The front end user never sees the categories and it won't affect the label's searchability.
Q: Can I delete all of the labels?
A: Yes. Go to Admin Plus>Labels and select all and then delete. You may have to delete several pages of labels depending on how many labels you have in your portal.
Q: Can I bulk upload labels?
A: Not at this time.
