Tools Overview
The Tools feature provides quick, one-click access to systems users utilize most. Portal Admin have the ability to manage Tools and Tool Categories.
In this article:
Add a Tool
Portal Left-Hand Menu > Tools
1. Click on Tools in the left-hand menu.

2. Select + Add Tool in the upper right-hand corner.

3. Enter the Tool Info: Tool icon and name, Short description, and Tool URL address; enable or disable the Open in new tab option.

4. Select the Tool Category.
5. Denote Tool Visibility.

6. Add optional Labels.

7. Select Create Tool in the lower right-hand corner when finished.

Tools can also be managed in Admin Plus.
User Options > Admin Plus > Tools > Tools
1. Click on User Options.
2. Select Admin Plus from the drop-down menu.

3. Scroll down to Tools.
4. Select Tools.

5. Select Add Tool + in the upper right-hand corner.

6. Type the new Tool name.
7. Add an optional Description.
8. Add an Icon.
9. Add a URL.
10. Select a Category.
11. Denote an Order.
12. Check the Required tickbox to make this Tool required.

Tools are organized in descending order within a Tool Category. The Tool with the largest number in the Order field will appear as the first Tool within the Tool Category.
Optional Tools are found under All Tools and can be added to the menu. Required Tools are automatically added to the menu.
Edit a Tool
Portal Left-Hand Menu > Tools
1. Click on Tools in the left-hand menu.

2. Select the Ellipsis icon to the right of the Tool to edit.
3. Select Edit Tool.

4. Edit the Tool, as necessary.
5. Click Save Changes in the lower right-hand corner.

Tools can also be managed in Admin Plus.
User Options > Admin Plus > Tools > Tools
1. Click on User Options.
2. Select Admin Plus from the drop-down menu.

3. Scroll down to Tools.
4. Select Tools.

5. Select the specific Tool.
6. Edit the Tool, as necessary.

7. Click Save in the lower right-hand corner.

Delete a Tool
Portal Left-Hand Menu > Tools
1. Click on Tools in the left-hand menu.

2. Select the Ellipsis icon to the right of the Tool to edit.
3. Select Delete Tool.

4. Select Yes in the dialogue box to complete deletion.

Tools can also be managed in Admin Plus.
User Options > Admin Plus > Tools > Tools
1. Click on User Options.
2. Select Admin Plus from the drop-down menu.

3. Scroll down to Tools.
4. Select Tools.

5. Select the specific Tool.
6. Click Delete.

7. Select Yes, I'm sure to complete deletion.
