Permissions Overview
The Permissions feature enables portal Admin to give individual Users and/or Roles granular administrative Permissions. Permissions provides the ability to control who can view, add, edit, or delete information within portal features.
In this article:
Assign Permission to View a Widget (Individual User or Role)
User Options > Admin Center > Widgets
1. Click on User Options.
2. Select Admin Center from the drop-down menu.

3. Scroll down to Widgets.
4. Select Widgets.

5. Locate the specific Widget.
6. Click the Edit Widget icon to the right of the widget name.
7. Scroll down to Can View Widget
8. Select Edit User, or select Edit Role.
9. Select User or Roles to see the widget.
10. Click Save on the bottom right of the pop up.

User Options > Admin Plus > Widgets > Widgets
1. Click on User Options.
2. Select Admin Plus from the drop-down menu.

3. Scroll down to Widgets.
4. Select Widgets.

5. Select the specific Widget.
6. Click Object Permissions in the upper right-hand corner.

7. Click in the User field to select a User, or click in the Group field to select a Role.
8. Select Manage User, or select Manage Role.
9. Click on Can view widget under Available Permissions.
10. Click the right-facing arrow to add Permissions to Chosen Permissions.
11. Click Save in the lower right-hand corner.

Assign Permission to Add a Widget (Individual User or Role)
User Options > Admin Center > Users & Roles > Users/Roles
1. Click on User Options.
2. Select Admin Center from the drop-down menu.

3. Select Users & Roles > Roles.

4. Select Edit Role for the desired Role.
5. Scroll down to Permissions.
6. Click the +Add Permission button.
7. Type Can Add Widget and check the box to select the permission.
8. Click Add.

9. Select Save in the bottom right corner of the page.

User Options > Admin Plus > Users > Users/Roles
1. Click on User Options.
2. Select Admin Plus from the drop-down menu.

3. Scroll down to Users.
4. Select Users/Roles.

5. Scroll down to Permissions.
6. Select "Can add widget" from Available User Permissions.
7. Click the right-facing arrow to move the permission to Chosen User Permissions.
8. Click Save in the lower-right hand corner.

Remove Permission to View a Widget (Individual User or Role)
User Options > Admin Center > Widgets
1. Click on User Options.
2. Select Admin Center from the drop-down menu.

3. Scroll down to Widgets.
4. Select Widgets.

5. Locate the specific Widget.
6. Click Edit Widget to the right of the widget name.
7. Scroll down to Can View Widget
8. Select Edit User, or select Edit Role.
9. Click the Trash Can icon next to the User/Role to be removed.
10. Click Save.

User Options > Admin Plus > Widgets > Widgets
1. Click on User Options.
2. Select Admin Plus from the drop-down menu.

3. Scroll down to Widgets.
4. Select Widgets.

5. Select the specific Widget.
6. Click Object Permissions in the upper right-hand corner.

7. Click the Edit next to the User or Role to change.

8. Click on Can view widget under Chosen Permissions.
9. Click the left-facing arrow to add Permissions to Available Permissions.
10. Click Save in the lower right-hand corner.
